Sons of Norway offers scholarships

Normanna Lodge 52 of the Sons of Norway is offering two $1,000 scholarships to people with grade-point averages of 3.5 or better who have completed at least two years of college and intend to enroll in a program that leads to a concentration in Norwegian studies.
Norwegian studies include: arts, crafts, history, international studies, language, literature, music, politics, folklore, mythology, women, etc. The money will be paid to the recipients’ colleges on Dec. 1 after a statement is received from the college indicating enrollment in Norwegian studies.
The student has no obligatio to Normanna Lodge following acceptance of the scholarship. Completed applications should be postmarked by March 15. Those applying are request the college to send a transcript of credits to the address below, also postmarked by March 15.
