Katherine Elaine Helms of 411 E. Fifth St., Albert Lea, announces the birth of a daughter, Aurora Leisa Helms, on June 24, 2009, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Aurora weighed 6 pounds.

Grandparents are Lissa Parrish and Rodney Helms.

Great-grandparents are James and Kathe Grodhaus.

John and Sarah (Kirsch) Kitzmann announce the birth of a son, Lucas John Robert Kitzmann, on May 26, 2009, in Mankato. Lucas weighed 8 pounds, 13 ounces, and was 21.5 inches long.

Grandparents are Bob and Marlene Kirsch of Albert Lea.

Brad Herfindahl and Miranda Carpenter of Bricelyn announce the birth of a daughter, Emma Rose Herfindahl, on June 16, 2009, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Emma weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces, and joins a brother, Dylan.

Grandparents are Dick and Jean Herfindahl of Albert Lea, Rose and Royce Dalton of Manchester, Tenn., and Corey and Barb Carpenter of Cape Coral, Fla.

Great-grandmothers are Kathy Johnson of Thief River Falls and Jean Carpenter of Plummer.

Jared and Jessica Gordon of Emmons announce the birth of twin sons, Grant Steven and Ethan Richard, on May 26, 2009, at Rochester Methodist Hospital. Grant weighed 5 pounds, 2 ounces, and was born at 1:54 p.m. Ethan weighed 5 pounds, 7 ounces, and was born at 2:01 p.m. They join a sister, Sophia Marie, 2.

Grandparents are John and Paula Yocom of Emmons and Gail and Sharon Gordon of Kensett, Iowa.

Great-grandparents are Steven F. and Kerjil Yocom of Emmons and Wayne and Wanda Bloomquist of Trimont.

Mark Nechanicky and Taryn Israel Nechanicky of Albert Lea announce the birth of a daughter, Anais Clara Israel Nechanicky, on June 3, 2009, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Anais weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces.

Grandparents are Marilyn and Paul Nechanicky of Albert Lea and Leda and Larry Israel of Michigan.

Great-grandparents are Beth and Albert Margolin and Bernice Israel of Michigan.

Nathan Baseman and Karen Reese of 406 Seventh Ave., Ellendale, announce the birth of a daughter, Autumn Lynn Baseman, on June 22, 2009, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Autumn weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces.

Grandparents are Darin and Lynn Reese, Corina Boser and Lloyd Hinton Jr.

Great-grandparents are Marvyl and Juel Kopperud, Dennis and Jan Baseman, Ellen and Lloyd Hinton Sr. and Roger and Nancy Timberlin.

Shane Arnold and Karina Amundson of 77477 125th St., Glenville, announce the birth of a daughter, Ava Jo Arnold, on May 4, 2009, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Ava weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces.

Jennifer and Eric Norgaard of Cottage Grove announce the birth of a daughter, Katelyn Rose Norgaard, on June 17, 2009, at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury. Katelyn weighed 8 pounds, was 21 inches long, and joins a sister, Amber Norgaard.

Grandparents are Keith and Darlene Benesch.

Great-grandparents are Gordon and Phyllis Benesch of Albert Lea, Al Norgaard of Nevis and Dave and Mary Kay Evans of Mahtomedi.
