Students spend night at museum
Published Saturday, June 20, 2009
ST. PAUL Glenville-Emmons fourth- and fifth-grade students were selected to participate in the “Water Matters” Camp-in program. Fun and science combine naturally to experience a sleepover at the Science Museum of Minnesota. The students explored and discovered how water and science impacts their lives and the future. The camp-in included: Exhibit admission and an exclusive exhibit time in the water special exhibition; an Explore Science workshop featuring hands-on water investigations; a Science LIVE Theater presentation; an Omnitheater film; and an overnight experience in the museum’s one-of-a-kind exhibit galleries. The students were also treated to a pizza dinner, a late night snack, and a continental breakfast. Each student and chaperone received a free T-shirt. When the students left the Science Museum, they traveled to the Minnesota State Capitol for a tour. Free bus transportation to and from St. Paul was included in the camp-in. The camp-in was sponsored by the Science Museum of Minnesota and Flint Hills Resources.

Why can't the Trib publish these articles when submitted instead of 2.5 months after they've taken place? It seems there isn't an issue when reporting on A. Lea or AC.
