Alden-Conger boys' golf takes 5th at home invite

The Alden-Conger boys’ golf team hosted its invite Friday at Green Lea Golf Course and placed fifth in the eight-team field.

The Knights shot 388 with Jordan Mulso and Brandon McTague leading the way with an 89s. Lance Schultz and Josh Larson each shot 105.

Martin County West won the invite with a 346 while the Albert Lea junior varsity team took second with a 361.

Kohl Kriewall shot 88 to lead the Tigers and finish sixth overall. Brady Falk was one stroke back of Kriewall with an 89 while Nate Stadheim shot 91 and Levi Hacker shot 93.

Glenville-Emmons finished seventh at the tournament with Cody Huston leading the Wolverines with his round of 93. Zach Wangen shot 97 while Nick Golbuff shot 104 and Josh Minear 106.
