Conger 4-H Club

Published Friday, May 22, 2009

The Conger 4-H Club met May 17 to do landscaping in Conger for its Community Pride project. Old bushes were taken out, new bushes and flowers were planted, and the old baseball backstop by the Conger Community Center was removed. After the work was done, President Lorna Riemer called the meeting to order.  Members discussed the window display for June Dairy Days and took a picture that will be used for it.  Livestock judging practices will be starting June 13. The club voted to have a float in the Morin Lake Days parade and the Albert Lea parade in July. County fair pre-entry forms were handed out and will also be available at the club tour. These forms need to be completed by June 22.  The next meeting is June 14, which will be the club tour. A potluck meals will be held afterwards. A tour schedule will be mailed to members.
