RSVP Readers’ Theater recently finished the season of presenting stories to elementary school children. Each year about 30 senior volunteers go into the schools in Albert Lea and Alden and present stories to stimulate the children’s imaginations and desire to read. This year, Daybreakers Kiwanis, Alden Lions and Wal-Mart gave funding so that children in grades K through 3 could each get a book to keep. Above, second- graders at Lakeview display their books and say “cheese.”
