Blood donors receive pins

The Freeborn County Red Cross Bloodmobile obtained 203 units of blood during its three-day drive Aug. 26-28. There were 10 first-time donors.
The following donor pins were awarded.
One gallon: Craig Westrum, Albert Lea.
Two gallons: Earl Cleven, Ellendale.
Four gallons: Millie Westland, Hayward.
Five gallons: Joan Sullivan, Albert Lea.
Six gallons: James Martin, Albert Lea.
Seven gallons: Phyllis Hamborg, Albert Lea; Henrietta Viktora, Albert Lea; and Kevin P. Walton, Glenville.
Twelve gallons: Ray Cochlin, Albert Lea.
Thirteen gallons: Lewis J. Grund, Northwood, Iowa.
Fourteen gallons: Roger Enderson, Albert Lea.
Fifteen gallons: Harold D. Nelson, Gordonsville; and Shirley Gray, Albert Lea.
Bloodmobile organizers wish to thank the donors and volunteers; Quizno’s for the cookies; and Kwik Trip for the orange juice.
The next bloodmobile is Monday from 1 to 7 p.m. at the National Guard Armory.
