USC/A-C's Goemann places 114th at first state cross country meet

Published Saturday, November 7, 2009

United South Central/Alden-Conger’s Hannah Goemann finished 114th overall in her first state meet experience in the Class A meet.

Goemann finished in a time of 17 minutes, 14.5 seconds.

“The whole goal was to start smart and finish strong and she did both of those,” said Rebels head coach Kent Viesselman.

Viesselman said both he and Goemann felt it was a good experience for her but nerves definitely played a role in the race.
