Here are highlights in history for Nov. 15, gleaned from the files of the Albert Lea Tribune:

1988 — A construction project at Thorne Crest Retirement and Health Care Center would result in a new wing to connect sections on the Hawthorne Street side.

1978 — Albert Lea High School Thespian Troupe 550 and the Tiger Players would be presenting three performances of the play, “The Diary of Anne Frank.”

1938 — The students at Albert Lea Junior College decided to use the nickname “Golden Eagles” for their various activities.
