Albert Lea Medical Center welcomes new plastic surgeon

Albert Lea Medical Center recently welcomed David Yao, M.D., Plastic Surgery. He now sees patients on the third floor of the clinic.

Dr. Yao specializes in aesthetic/cosmetic surgery such as facelifts, breast augmentation and reduction, liposuction and body contouring, as well as reconstructive surgery such as procedures for skin cancer, breast reconstruction and scar revision and mole removal.

He received his medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Va. He trained in surgery at Maricopa Integrated Health System in Phoenix, Ariz., plastic surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, and completed an aesthetic/cosmetic fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York, N.Y. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Yao also sees patients at Owatonna Clinic, Owatonna.
