RCC men’s soccer team ties Crossroads College
Published Tuesday, October 6, 2009
The Riverland Community College men’s soccer team tied Crossroads College 4-4 Monday in Austin.
The Blue Devils trailed 2-1 at halftime and came back to score three goals to make it a 4-2 game, but Crossroads rallied for a tie.
Jovanny Santibanez scored three goals for Riverland and Gabriel Sanchez added another.
“I am not happy with this result because we should have won,” said Blue Devils head coach Soner Dogan. “But, I am happy with the performance of my players. They showed a character by coming back from 2-1 down at the end of the first half.”
The Blue Devils face Hibbing Community College Friday in Albert Lea at 4 p.m.
