Bulldog volleyball sweeps Central Springs

The Lake Mills volleyball team got a glimpse of its first round opponent in the regional playoffs Tuesday when it faced Central Springs in Manly.

The 12th-ranked Bulldogs (31-3) won 25-17, 25-21, 25-14 over the Panthers.

Darcy Nelson led Lake Mills with 11 kills while Amanda Lampman added 10, and Josie Brackey and Lindy Pins both had nine.

Morgan Fjelstad had 32 assists while Brackey and Nelson led with eight digs.

The Bulldogs travel to St. Ansgar Thursday for a quadrangular tournament.
