Fire reported on Jefferson

A fire was reported in an abandoned house at 806 Jefferson Ave. at 11:26 p.m. Monday, according to a spokesman with the Albert Lea Fire Department. A neighbor noticed the fire and called it in to authorities.

The spokesman said firefighters were on the scene for about an hour. The fire was contained to the east wall, which is the front of the house.

The fire is under investigation.

One injured in semi rollover

A semi rollover was reported near the intersection of Interstate 90 and Interstate 35 at 10:09 p.m. Monday, according to Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office reports. The report stated one person was transported for unknown injuries. The crash was being written up by the Minnesota State Patrol; however, no information could be found about the crash on its Web site.

Dog attacks reported

Two cases of dogs attacking another dog were reported within the last few days in Albert Lea.

The first incident reportedly took place on the 900 block of Frank Avenue at 7:09 p.m. Saturday. It was reportedly a pit bull attacking another dog.

The second incident reportedly took place on the 200 block of St. Mary Ave. at 1 p.m. Monday.

Window broken out of van

A window was reported broken out of a van on the 74000 block of 240th Street in Albert Lea at 6 p.m. Monday, according to reports.
