Birth Announcements

Derek and Anne Sternhagen of Albert Lea announce the birth of a son, Drake Derek Sternhagen, on July 22, 2009, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Drake weighed 8 pounds.

Grandparents are Chris Harty, Laura Sternhagen,  Jim and Mary Gulbrandson and Todd and Julie Sternhagen.

Great-grandparents are Dorothy Harty, Alice Gulbrandson, Rosie Pollack and Ray and Delors Sternhagen.

Matt and Flor LeHocky of 513 W. Main St., Apt. 1, announce the birth of a daughter, Eva Carmelle LeHocky, on Sept. 1, 2009, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Eva weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces, and joins siblings Mitzibelle Soto and Demi Trevino.

Grandparents are Bruce and Janna Arbic, Paula Soto and Jesus Rangel.

Matt and Maridy Helland of Emmons announce the birth of a son, James Matthew Helland, on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009, at 5:50 p.m. James weighed 9 pounds, 9 ounces, was 21 1/2 inches long, and joins siblings Eric and Carrie Warmka.

Grandparents are Archie and Denise Kluender of Walters and Anita Helland of Emmons and the late Jim Helland.

Great-grandparents are Alvin and Elaine Kluender and LaMars and Ruth Yost, all of Walters. Great-grandparents are Leo and Alma Halvorsen of Emmons.

Buck and Janelle Rasmussen of 1807 Michael Place, Albert Lea, announce the birth of a daughter, Paige Ann Rasmussen, on Aug. 27, 2009, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Paige weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and joins a brother, Benjamin.

Grandparents are Dave and Georgia Godtland and Bob and Pat Shideler.

Adam and Melissa Klocke of Blooming Prairie announce the birth of a daughter, Aubrey Jean Klocke, on July 19, 2009. Aubrey weighed 8 pounds and was 20 1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Shelley Prihoda of Blooming Prairie, the late Steve Prihoda and Dennis and Deb Klocke of Hayfield.

Great-grandparents are Margaret Delger and Kermit Delger, both of Albert Lea; Eugene and DeLores Distad and Ruth Klocke, all of Hayfield; and the late Harold Klocke.

Great-great-grandmother is Irene Distad of Stewartville.

Daryl and Shawna Brewer of 50 Mill St., Zumbrota, announce the birth of a son, Blake Alan Brewer, on Aug. 5, 2009, at Olmsted Medical Center in Rochester. Blake weighed 10 pounds, 7 ounces.

Grandparents are Ron and Jane Belshan and Jay and Becky Brewer.

Great-grandparents are Neal and Betty Larson and Christina Brewer.

Kip Bauldry and Jesi Raimann of 109 Seventh St. NW, Waseca, announce the birth of a daughter, Jade Peyton Bauldry, on Aug. 19, 2009, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Jade weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces, and joins a brother, Carter.

Grandparents are Gary “Hawk” Bauldry, Cindy and LaMar Brandenburg and Daniel and Donna Raimann.

Sandra Hernandez and Andres Gustavo Barranco-Romero of 515 Commercial St. announce the birth of a son, Johan Alexis Barranco, on Sept. 6, 2009, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Johan weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce.

Grandparents are Teresa and Daniel Hernandez. Josefina Romero and Tomas Barranco.

Brad and Nicole Edwards of Maplewood announce the birth of a son, Ryker Thomas Edwards, on July 5, 2009, at Rochester Methodist Hospital. Ryker weighed 4 pounds, 4 ounces.

Grandparents are Terri Marpe of Albert Lea, Todd and Roxie Marpe of Emmons and Gerald and Becky Edwards of Hollandale.

Great-grandparents are Sadie Flattum of Albert Lea, Roger and Zona Marpe of Emmons and Elmer and Joan Vanden Heuvel of Geneva.
