Amber Edwards graduates from Allen College

Amber Edwards, daughter of Doug and Jane Edwards of Albert Lea, graduated from Allen College in Waterloo, Iowa, Aug. 14, at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa, during summer commencement ceremonies. She was awarded a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
The graduates were the from the second class of Allen College’s 15-month accelerated BSN program, the first and only program of its type in Iowa.
Allen College’s nursing programs have the second-largest enrollment in Iowa. More than 450 students enrolled at the College this fall in nursing and health science degree programs.
Area students graduate from Iowa State University
Iowa State University held summer commencement ceremonies Aug. 8.
Justin J. Elwood of Albert Lea was awarded a master of science degree in mechanical engineering.
Michael Yegge of Lake Mills, Iowa, was awarded a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering.
