United South Central traveled to LeSueur on Tuesday to face the Giants and came away with a 4-3 loss.

Katie Lorenz and Rachel Mattick picked up wins for the Rebels in singles play and the doubles team of Cami Christian and Brianna Schroeder continued their fantastic play this season with a victory at the No. 1 spot.

USC dropped its other matches in straight sets by close scores.

Ali Ramsley dropped her match at No. 1 singles to Erin Seaver 6-4, 6-4 while the No. 2 doubles team of Robin Staloch and Megan Chicos fell 6-3, 6-4. Megan Allis and Ali Wood lost 6-3, 6-3 at No. 3 doubles against Emily Barnardt and Kirsten Shaughnessy.

“We played pretty well against them,” said Rebels head coach Kim Stevermer. “We should know what to expect next time.”
