Another place where Christmas presents could be purchased in Albert Lea a century ago was at the T.J. Sime Jewelry Store, 128 E. Main St. An Albert Lea Times-Enterprise ad said his store sold Elgin and Waltham watches, souvenir spoons, clocks, tie pins, rings, fountain pens and other potential gifts.
