I would LOVE to vote, but I was busy trying to STAY with the group I was with! We followed Casa Zamora (as well as the rest of these groups...go float #72!!!), but I DO have to say that they rank pretty high in my book! My daughters, who having gotten a bit hot during the wait, took one of our float's prizes over to THIER float, and asked to trade the prize for a freezie pop. They were gracious enough to trade, and we are VERY thankful for it :):)
Overall it was a GREAT parade, and being the first time I have ever been in one, I had a BLAST!

First of all good parade.
Second of all was it really necessary for the immigration sign again this year. I think everyone gets the point from the local news. The parade is suppost to be fun.
Third of all clean up your garbage!

You have to be kidding the Freeborn County Republicans sitting up there looking down on everyone. You have to be kidding.
It's was the WWII War Vets hands down and you don't even have them on the list. SHAME ON YOU Albert Lea Tribune

Overall the parade was good. However, today my plan is to pick up the pop cans and garbage left on my front lawn by parade viewers. People are so rude!

Mankind, can't we refrain from the partisan politics for once? It's a parade not a political rally. Wise up.

Then the politicians should have stayed home.

I liked the Albert Lea High School Marching Band myself.

The vets were our favorite part of the parade. My daughter squealed with delight when they would wave back. We also really enjoyed the Shriners. :)
Thanks to EVERYONE who participated.

The vets should definitely be in the running for this. After all, they are part of the reason Americans still have their freedom. They deserve more recognition than they get!
