uhh no please no (D) as gov. then with the (D's) in legislature they will pass all sorts of bad money management bills. I came to Minn. with the idea that it was the best state in the U.S. because of its typical balance in policy. usually socially liberal and conservative with their money (not progressive like the D) this balance works out which is the reason one becomes an anarcho-capitalist, you want monetary and social freedom which equates to total freedom from tyranny.

None of the above.

Garrison Keillor would be my first choice. He is not listed.

Why Mark Dayton? I thought he stepped down from the US Senate race because he didn't think he would get reelected!

By the way, next week we will do Republican candidates.

Dayton & Rybak have name recognition, but neither has credentials all that impressive. There is not a single DFLer on the list who will generate much excitement from the voters.
Who will be the next celebrity to come home to Minnesota to run for governor?

That sounds like a good idea for a poll question. You might help me find some choices for the poll. http://www.hollywood.com/CelebPOBList/PO...

Atleast celebrity Al Frankin lived in Albert Lea for a year and is familiar with some of the problems we have had in this town. Being a celebrity isn't necessarily bad if they no the territory.

Oops. So much for proof reading. Being a celebrity isn't necessarily bad if you know the territory.

Mark Dayton is a failure. Rybak works hard. The rest are really marginal and are out of touch with the state of the MN economy.

All plutocrats? Not fair.

I couldn't find much for celebrity possibilities either. I'd wager that the DFL will fail to elect a governor unless they can find someone with a modicum of enthusiasm combined with a dash of common sense.
