We ARE the state of hockey because very few other states care about it.

Hockey players are THE TOUGHEST athlete's there are. the pace of the game makes sure they are aerobically fit and the physicality of the game takes its toll. hockey doesn't get the mainstream coverage of other sports or maybe it would be more popular, other than in a select group of states. Also Pierre, since this question was asked by the A.L. Tribune, that would mean we are in this state.

All three of the sports of pretty tough to participate in. You need to be in awesome shape for all three of them.

Sorry tquam hockey players are NOT the toughest. Wrestlers take that title. From someone who has participated in both sports the nod goes to the wrestlers. Hockey players have different lines that switch out constantly giving the players a breather - short yes but a break non the less. Wrestlers give it there all for six minutes with no back-up its just one on one.
