Ryan and Janelle Merkouris are a host family to the two defensemen and their children, Caleb and Ellen, love to play with the two hockey players.

Steffanie Corning, manager, left, and Lydia Atkinson, inventory specialist, take down Venturer 10-inch LCD digital TVs from the top shelves at Walgreens in preporation for Black Friday. The TV sets will be on sale for $120 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Corning said she expects to see double the holiday sales that Walgreens saw last year.
