This project is doomed with Sorenson on the job. He'll muck it up like usual. He makes it up as he goes along, wasting time, and others money.
Why this county still employs a ex-plumber who coudln't even keep his own business going is beyond me. Just take a look at all the failed projects his name has been on.
Just one successful project would pay for a real planner. Someone that actually went to school for it. Wake up Freeborn County, the reason you don't grow isn't far away.

I thought Beaver Trail was doing fine. Doesnt' Jellystone get a cut of the money? Are they in trouble? Is my annual spot at risk?

jo2008; I lived in that hole for ten years. The best thing I ever did was get out. From the drunken county hack losers who can't make it on the outside, to the drugged up spoiled rotten kids that terrorize local businesses and residents; Albert Lea and Austin should be annexed to Iowa. North Iowans are just as bad with all their dirty casino money.
Don't even get me started on all the country meth. labs and farmers wives prostitution rings. Anything goes in that area. If you don't believe how bad it is just look at the kind of people milling about at the Super Wal-Mart. That gene pool needs a lot of chlorine.

How heart warming, charitable groups sold their souls salivating over the quarters of over weight, chain smoking, slot sluts.

This is pathetic. Industry is relocating all around us and we get excited about a loose meat sandwich shop. What a joke. Wake up people, you needed the coffee allot more than you need another fat supply house.

Businesses are leaving, not coming in. This paper is part of the problem. They take a lopsided survey about all we all like about the area and everyone respond negative. What does that say to you. I posted a negative blog about Freeborn planning and code enforcement hacks and they removed it. They don't want to see anything not nice. For example: how can they make a positive point out of loosing Farmland by saying we are diverse? I'd be amazed if they leave this blog in.
The problems are not just the provincial locals wanting to keep things sleepy, its the overwhelming, over regulating, state beauracracy. From MNDOT to MPCA they are loaded with sleepy people with a Garrison Kieller style. It's only funny to those looking at us. Businesses are leaving. I did.
