We went from one extreme to the exact opposite at one point DHS in Freeborn county was on a removal kick over anything someone reported. without even invstigating. Did not matter that it was the neighbor who was P.O'ed about you calling the PD for all the noisy parties they were throwing. If you had kids they could call DHS and have your kids removed if they told them you were neglecting them.

Now hold on Mayor Elect Murtaugh has only been in that position for what a little over a month? And you expect him to be completely on top of something that has been on going over the summer? Besides I believe he stated he that he would like to see it ready and clean before it is approved.

Have you tried talking with the city councilor in your district?
If they are not aware of the concern it is hard for them, the council as a whole, to address the concerns you have.
On Albert Lea police have been helpful with situation
