Didn't Boof has shoulder issues toward the end of last season?
Maybe if he skipped a trip or two through the buffet line and worked a little harder on his conditioning he would be able to last more than 4-5 innings on a consistent basis.

I have not missed a home high school girls hockey game in more than 5 years. For you to say "I go to Thunder and girls high-school games" is a complete and total exaggeration. You have been to a grand total of 1 girls game over that time frame. You completely lack ANY credibility.
I have known Jeff Elseth personally for almost 20 years and I have been a member at GLGC for 15 or so of those years and I have NEVER ONCE witnessed anyone "run wild" over the course. Your claims are not only insulting to the Elseth family, but to every GLGC member.
As for the Superintendent Mike Carlson, I have know Mike and his family since they moved to town. In fact, I was the first person Mike spoke with prior to him even applying for the position. I'd like to believe I helped, at least a little, to bring Mike and his family to Albert Lea, they're a very nice family. Mike works very hard and is a true professional. He has made some nice improvements to the course and in my opinion the course has never looked or played a nice as it does now. Albert Lea and GLGC are very fortunate to have such a quality individual as their golf course superintendent.
You on the other hand are a bitter, unhappy person who seeks personal satisfaction and fulfillment by tearing down the fine people of this community who are hard working, successful and well respected. Unfortunately for you, those are 3 things you will NEVER be.
Good luck to Paul Field and Jerry Vogt, it's a beautiful looking course. I'm a big fan of links style golf.

Sorry coach, but 3 of Red Wing's 4 goals were on the power play. The game was a lot closer than the score would indicate, however the girls just had no answer for Red Wing's #11.

Should be one heck of a game. Albert Lea is playing very well right now and Red Wing is very good. Hopefully the girls continue their hot play and don't get too caught up watching #11 because Red Wing has a few other weapons too.
The game is in Owatonna tomorrow at 1:00. Let's fill the place with AL fans.

This is a very fine group of young men. I've known most all of them since they were little kids, I know how hard they work and trust me, they EARNED this. Way to go guys.
