I would have to say NoDFL is right on this one. Don't respond to hardtail. It is what he wants. He wants to pick a fight with you. If you stick to the issues and use facts you make him look silly. He then makes matters worse by calling names. I for one want facts and look to both sides to provide them. I don't buy the stuff that both sides put out. So the blame game does not work.

I will say it again hardtail you are way out of line. I never attacked you nor did anyone yet you feel you must lower yourself by call names and attacking people. Your arguements fall short when you attack people. Please attack the ideas with facts. You would make a better impression. Otherwise it is just sad very sad that Albert Lea has sunk to this level.

Well said veneratio well said. I can't believe the power of the nanny state. But when they took people's legal right to smoke away and took away my right to wear a seatbelt or not I knew it was all over. If this goes through the next step will to be to ban smoking in private homes. How far will they go? By the way I don't smoke never have.

I will shoot you an email in a little bit. So to stay on topic do you support the rental ordinance? The free market? A local buyer for Snyders? Just trying to get a feel for the island life.....

I would love to move to the Caribbean how does one go about doing that? Really please share I have hit a point in my life that I hate the cold. What are the jobs and taxes like? Do you have to give up your citizenship? Houseing cost? Man I want that life. I hope some people (hardtail) read your post. Nice job.

I like what Truth is saying. I am not for the rental ordinance for that reason. During these hard times I think it is governments duty to make life a little bit easier. The city of Albert Lea has done a lot of damage to good hard working people. When someone had to leave because of jobs do you think they will talk positive about this town if the town treats him like a leaper? I don't or how about dealing with the loss of a love one and then find out you can't sell their home because it is a rental and the city does not like your buyer. We as a city have become very unamerican and this is not what our town is. Call the mayor and the city council ask them to change the ordinance. Let them go after guys like hardtail ones who are in it because that is their business. I think there is a big difference between the accidental landlord and one who does it as a business. Am I off base?
