Lord have mercy! Palin is not a threat to the left. Rather she is just another in a long line of nutty righties who drive people to the left. Palin and Limbaugh are my heroes!

It is quite clear that the reason she talks Midwestern is because she thinks that she can see Minnesota while standing outdoors in Alaska.

alhs1975 continues to drone on with dribble concerning this topic. Blah! Blah! Blah! You chose your profession so please shut-up. How many folks in the private sector who make the equivalent or more than a teacher's salary work only 40 hours per week? Well, none if any. Test scores in the local district are below the state average, teachers whine about needing liasion officers, parents are accused of not raising their children properly, etc. Does the whining from our local educators ever stop? Be happy that you have the job that you have and get a clue that we are in a time of economic turmoil. Stop the whining and get on with it! Stop placing the blame for your woes on others and take a look in the mirror. What ever happened to personal accountability, pay raises based on merit, and good old-fashioned professionalism? These educators do not have a clue!

The glorious historic district of downtown is a dump! Few people go there. The City cannot afford to grow the downtown. The veterans got the shaft.

The decline all began with Nixon. The government lost the public trust while he was in office and it has not been recovered since.

There are a great number of stray trains out and about lately. Most have left their tracks to find short-cuts to destinations. Some have said that these stray trains do not obey traffic stop signs and signal lights. Beware!

Good grief! Are we to thank law enforcement for doing the job that they are PAID to do with tax payer money, including my own paid taxes? We should expect there to be more DUI issues given a holiday since more people travel about then. This is not news.

Good communication! Rather than the usual "threat of the month" this article shows that law enforcement may actually care about people. Nice job!
