My guess is that the police don't have too much wiggle room to put on much 'extra' patrol due to budget cuts. Just my guess. Also, it would help if everyone looked out for their neighbor.

I can't wait to see this building up! What a positive thing for our area. Thanks to everyone who is working to make this happen.

Well, I guess "Foolish" is a proper name.
Are there people who milk the system? Of course. Is that awful? Yes.
But for every 1 person milking the system there are many more working hard to get off of the system.

Sorry, where does it say that the North Branch kid is "in hiding?" From the other sources that I have read this story the family has cooperated at every turn.
I am glad that so far, at least to our knowledge, all of the children have made it home safely. I hope the predator is caught.

The vets were our favorite part of the parade. My daughter squealed with delight when they would wave back. We also really enjoyed the Shriners. :)
Thanks to EVERYONE who participated.

Wow. Amazing. The ignorance and insults found on this board. There are many points of view, and all points can be argued in a civil manner, however I see very little of that. Everyone backs into the corner of choice and starts plugging their ears and screaming insults at one another. I read the comments section because I am interested in finding out my neighbors POV... not to wallow in disrespectful remarks.
"Feedman" I find your posts childish and contemptuous. Although I usually hate it when people post in "all caps", as it signifies shouting, thank you. It's like throwing up a flare and it makes it easy to skip over your posts.

A beautiful course, very nice owners... congratulations on 60 years! Being a transplant to the area I would have liked to read a little bit of history about the course/owners.

I would love to see Austin and AL connected with a bike trail. But I agree with mrthunder, I much prefer the landscape of the Northern half of the state, and it's a natural place to offer bike trails so I see why it has grown so much up there.

The Starbucks building is a better fit as the Yum! corp. is requiring/required all of their KFC buildings to be updated and will need less remodling than the old KFC plot. I agree that the building has become unsightly and would sure like something done with it.
