No charges??? Wow... If that doesn't make others like them think "hey, I can get away with this, as long I pick a victim with dementia" I don't know what else would. That's disgusting. Poking a women in the genitals with vulvar cancer. That had to be so painful for her. And throwing stuffed animals on the floor when the resident thought they were her children? What a horrible feeling that must have been for her.

I don't think there is anything wrong when responsible parents let a couple of there kids drink at there home, (while supervising) and then make sure none of them drive anywhere. My parents use to let my friends and I drink at home, (not excessively) and then made sure we went to bed. That was there way of making sure we weren't partying with wrong people or drinking and driving.

I think sag103 is talking about the people on here that are saying we need to be nice to these girls. But that's just what I got out of it.

I am not a reporter, I didn't go to college and study english, I don't have proof readers. The reporters at this newspaper are supposed to be college educated, they probably have it proof read by a few people. THATS why I point it out.

I want to know this... By law, parents can give there minor children alcohol, as long as it is in there own home, but spouses are not allowed to give there husbands or wives alcohol (by law) in there own home. I have always wondered though what the police in this town would do if, after this social host thing passes, would they ticket my husband for giving me beer??? Just something I have always been thought about.

No, they could NOT have just decided to handle this in house, they are required BY LAW to report it.

Wow tengstrom, removing my comments now too??? Maybe your paper should spend more time checking, and proof reading your stories, because you guys have the worst typos I have ever seen in a newspaper, and spend more time actually REPORTING and WRITING stories, not worry so much about we are saying to each other on hear.
