Motor vehicle collisions are always tragic, I too have lost loved ones in MVCs.
Wasn't their alcohol involved in that 1988 accident? If memory serves me correctly there was.
Also, it has been 21 years. It is too bad that people are still so broken up over this being printed in the paper. They need to learn from the incident and not loose themselves in their grief.
AND as far as that man who runs that counseling group but is still angry, well that is a HUGE no no. It is unethical and unprofessional to run a group when you are still "angry" about the motivating incident in your life. The first and most important rule in running groups and counseling is "never use your clients, group, or group members as a method of coping with your unresolved problems." This is damaging not only to the counselor or group leader but it is PSYCHOLOGICALLY DAMAGING TO THE GROUP MEMBERS.

Truth you also said "Hey Mabaker tell us how well single payer is working in Canada?"
What does that have to do with anything? A single payer option is off the table! There will not be a single payer option. Everybody has known that for weeks! Months!

Truth you say that
•Mammograms: 88.6% of American females 40-69 had ever had a mammogram compared to 72.3% of Canadians.
•PAP smear: 86.3% of American females 20-69 had a PAP smear in the last 3 years compared to 75.1% of Canadians.
If that is true and I don't see your credible source posted then I wonder how many of thoe procedures were paid for by our current socialized medical care. A huge number of women are only able to receive PAPs and Mammograms because of government run programs that provide affordable medical care and opportunities.
Also, note that Obama wants health care reform, he has no personal bill that he has proposed. The bills were created by committees and are being reviewed by the congressional legislature. They are not Obama's bills, Obama has just said that there are some things that he would like to see in there, such as a public option. Nobody is forcing anybody, it is called a public OPTION because it gives people OPTIONS. Some people don't have OPTIONS, and they deserve them. We all deserve a public option.
This is not Canadian Health Insurance, this is not Obama's Bill, this is American health reform. We need it! Why must you and your goonies twist everything!?
Why am I arguing with you? I can't argue with someone like you, because no matter what I saw, and no matter how right I am, you will spit something back out at me. It will probably be something way out there and totally off base, but you will go off anyways. You and your crew love to abuse this forum and you love to abuse the people who post on here.

The working poor are the ones who are current system is really taking advantage of, they can't get insurance, and they couldn't afford if they could get it. The lies you see on this forum by Truth, Culture Warrior, realchange, and NoDFL are perfect examples of republican rhetoric and lies designed to scare the American Public and destroy President Obama.
It is funny how the minority on here make themselves sound like the majority by posting over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over..........If you try to argue with them they will fight like teenagers-I suppose that is why the GOP has scripts for them (because they are juvenille in nature and quickly resort to bullying and name calling).

Well Realchange, you are a Bush Believer, so I am going to bet that doing the exact opposite of what you say we should do is the path that is best for ALL Americans-even fools like you and the rest of your "echo chamber/machine." Keep talking so that we can make the right choices (by doing the opposite of what you say).

The racist comments and actions on this cite and in our communities add weight to the reality of the existing problems. The bigots you see here are proof that the efforts of Centro Campesino are necessary and just.
I hope that you join me ending discrimination now while creating viable solutions for the future of all human beings regardless of their age, race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, religion, or disability.
