super lame-NO carnival?? inflatables?!? really? they had that at the WCP picnic-which was awesome, but to try and use that as some sort of carnival centerpiece?! i guess i remember when it was an AWESOME place to be. Not so much anymore.

We tested Albert lea lake/Fountain lake in microbiology class last summer and it was the ONLY water sample that had to be filtered twice and mixed with sterile water in order to even identify differences in bacteria otherwise it was impossible to do because the petri dishes were PACKED with microorganisms. just fyi.

It would take a megadose of Demerol to kill him especially if it was something he had daily since the body builds up tolerance... so we'll see.

All nurses should know the ABC's-airway, breathing, circulation. Maintaining a patent airway is THE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY. If a patient is having trouble breathing and nursing interventions are NOT working (without an on-site physician). You call 911. Plain and simple. I am very sorry for your family's loss..How frustrating when that is one of basic foundations of nursing.

i am not worried about losing my job, and i'm not retired, wealthy or living with my parents...i'm in the medical field and still getting working more hours than i was hired for..
