each wind turbine stands on only about 1/2 acre so that is only 61 acres out of production to start. the rest on the land is still farmed. the total area of 32500 acres is to allow for space between tubines/blades, etc. I'm sure that there are more acres lost to access roads etc. but its not excessive

there hasn't been to much talk about what this treatment might cost the family. maybe they were looking for a less costly option for treatment. ie: no treatment
