Good for the New Ulm paper for printing this and getting the truth out about the DFL majority's goal of taxing the rich and spreading the wealth. I wish our local media would end it's love affair with the DFL.
They see the rich as an easy target because of their high incomes.
We need reform and responsibility at the state level. Let's start making decisions that will put us on track to prosper in the future. This includes NOT RAISING TAXES!!!

This was a very good win for the Albert Lea Boys golf team. Keeping pace in the conference this early in the season is underrated because the golf season is so short and variable.
76 is a great score for Tyler Brackey on a day like yesterday. What the author of this story failed to mention is the fact that it was no more than 45 degrees yesterday with wind upwards of 20 MPH and on and off rain.
Sam Matheson, it appears, has been the most consistent of players for the Tigers. Breaking 80 both days at the Tri-State tournament and having a solid showing today shows that he will be there all year long.
Grant Stadheim is a senior on this club that really seems to step up when the team needs him. If he can get his short game together, look for him to make a strong run as the season continues.
The Big 9 conference meet will decide this race. The host team Winona will have an obvious advantage, while the rest of the conference will attempt to become familiar with this tough course for this all important meet.
I look for good things out of this golf team. They already have set extremely low scoring marks while continuing to play well throughout the season. Looking at the conference this year, it is up in the air. Defending conference champion Mankato West lost 5 seniors last year as well as their coach, Austin needs to prove that they can have 4 solid scores, Century should be right in the mix if they can continue with their consistency, and a dark horse could always emerge.

I can't stand how our DFL led state legislature can't figure these things out without changing the constitutuion. First they pass a bunch of bologna on to us and say it's for clean water, arts, and whatever else it was for. This is just another example of legislators not being able to come up with a solution for our budget problems.

I'm assuming joker is Mark Carlson?
Amazing how you continue to find forums to trash. When you get kicked off, you simply create a new e mail.
See you at the Thunder games, eh
