It DOES happen--in fact I was called out at 7 pm yesterday in rural Steele County to help look for a lost 3 year old in a cornfield. Thank God this search also turned out with a huge sense of relief when the law enforcement found her sleeping in the porch where she had been hiding. I was amazed at the quick response of the local LEC, fire dept, neighbors, CERT team and others. A tragedy diverted and a BIG thank you from the parents and grandparents. God watches over these little ones. Thank you God.

Our Precious Rosebud
The Master Gardener from Heaven above
planted a seed in the Garden of Love.
And from it grew a rosebud small
that never had time to open at all.
For God in His perfect and all-wise way
chose this rose for His heavenly bouquet.
And great was the joy of this tiny rose
to be the one our Father chose
to leave earth's garden for one on high
where roses bloom and never die...
So, while we can't see our precious rose bloom,
We know the Great Gardener from the "Upper Room"
is watching and tending this wee rose with care,
tenderly touching each petal so fair...
We'll think of our darling with angels above
secure and content and surrounded by love.
And remember that God blessed and enriched
our lives too... for in dying your darling
brought Heaven closer to you.

Tired---you obviously did not read any of the info from the trial. The Dad NEVER had the shotgun. Hilary was shot first, then Tracy, who had parts of the mattress imbedded in him as he used it to try to protect himself and his wife.
There could have been NO other verdict---Justice has prevailed in finding the guilty party. But life will never be the same for the Kruegers. May God strengthen them.

And who will pay for major repair on the bridge deck? Our already strained state budget? Maybe the person(s) responsible for the major disruption in traffic and/or his company should foot the bill for being irresponsibile.
I can't believe the boom was not lowered enough to go under the bridge. SOP, right?
And, scurvydog, it really isn't funny at all. Can you comprehend the Major reroute of traffic indefinately Thru town, due to this stupid mistake??

An awesome article and a very awesome garden.
Thank you Joe Sparks for sharing so cordially.
I have lived in this area for over 40 years and just discovered this sureal creation thru this article.
Thank goodness for digital cameras or I would have been changing film every 5 minutes.
It brings to mind the Groto @ West Bend IA, but with a this garden has a much calmer and soothing effect on the soul.
I hope you are able to maintain its personal aura and not commercialize it. Again, thank you for sharing.
