Ya know the state sure likes to find someone to blame for their misgivings in this case finding the nursing home negligent. If anyone should be found negligent it should be the state health department for not providing adaquate health care for our seniors. Its pretty easy for them to sit behind a desk and point fingers. These are the rules we set and BY GOD YOU BETTER LIVE BY THEM OR YOU WILL SUFFER THE CONCEQUENCES.You will ALL see what YOUR MEDICARE PAYS ONCE YOUR ON IT. ITS NOT PRETTY. and GOD help you if you dont have a supplement insurance with it because YOU WILL BE SCREWED and MEDICAL ASSISSTANCE ISNT ANY BETTER. AS for the doctor SHAME ON YOU I DONT GIVE A DAMN HOW BUSY YOU ARE THERE IS NO EXCUSE AND IS VERY UNACCEPTABLE TO NOT RESPONED IN A TIMELY MANNER- TIMELY MEANING BETWEEN APPTS ESPECIALLY WHEN OFFICE VISITS ONLY LAST ABOUT 15 MINUTES EACH.IF YOU DONT FEEL YOU HAVE TIME TELL YOUR RECEPTIONISTS TO QUIT OVERBOOKING YOU-and IF YOU WERE IN SURGERY THEN THERE SHOULD BE SOMEONE THAT CAN GET YOU THE DAMN MESSAGE THAT THE NURSING HOME CALLED AND THEY WANT AN ANSWER ASAP! Sounds to me like this woman should never have been released to a nursing home in the first place. ONE THING ID LIKE TO KNOW IS WWWHHHYYYY ARENT NURSES TRAINED IN EVERYTHING THEY MAY HAVE TO DO?A RN IS A RN? THEY DO HAVE RNS THERE RIGHT? YOU CANT TELL ME THAT A NURSE FROM THE HOSPITAL COULDNT HAVE CAME TO THE NURSING HOME AND SHOWED (TRAINED) SOMEONE HOW TO USE THIS MACHINE.BUT I BET THEY COULDNT BECAUSE WHY SHOULD WE GO DOWN AND SHOW THEM HOW TO USE IT ?WE ARENT GOING TO GET PAID FOR SHOWING THEM SO WHY GO THERE? ITS ALL ABOUT THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR NOBODY DOES SOMETHING FOR NOTHING ANYMORE. AND THATS THE TRUTH!

plumhorse and proudUSCmomma- first and foremost stupidity and ignorance lays in your lap. You show me where in this article it says this money came from a grant or special funds because i did not see anything of the sort and i read the whole article! If you want the public to be INFORMED AND TO KNOW THE FACTS maybe you should have included that. As for the school falling apart im sure it is- buildings have a tendency to do just that. If the roof of your house leaked and your basement walls were caving in and your windows drafted cold air in the winter time and you didnt have the money to fix it all at once would you not fix one thing every year until the repairs were completed? USC district taxpayers would have been more accepting of these repairs if done one by one and as they occured.Maybe we should have fixed these issues when they were deteriorating instead of letting repairs go by the wayside and now crying to the government that we need money to fix our school. A government thats already how many millions/billions of dollars in debt. You say im stupid and ignortant? You better read your current events keep up on the news- stay INFORMED and KNOW THE FACTS!

they have monies for these? how much did they cost? yet they want the taxpayer to fund for a new school? maybe they should have used that money to fix something in their school thats so called falling apart!

I am very happy to see the outcome of this trial. I hope Hilary and her young son can move on now. It is never gona be easy. But I know she is a VERY strong woman. I have seen her in some of her struggling days since 02-2007. God watch over you and protect you from any other harm Hilary.
