We spent about 25% of normal on Christmas presents last year. We hope to continue the trend this year. Big spending to go into huge debt makes no sense to me.

My dad's cousin was a duck hunter caught in this storm over by Winona. He barely survived. Some of his companions did not.
Hopefully such a diseaster won't occur again because of better weather forecasting and communications.

I'm curious about the "in a foreign country" response. Do you order goods from another country? Or actually go there to buy stuff? Which countries are involved?

I wish the AL Trib would investigate local city, county and school financial dealings is such detail.

There are too many highly paid staff who are not in the classrooms. Eliminate most of them. Budget solved.

Albert Lea continues to give the impression that it isn't business friendly, imho. The Legion deserved better.

Tim: good list of choices.
We host my in-laws and all of the kids, grandkids, etc. I reallly enjoy cooking for a crowd. I can hardly wait to dig into all those goodies: pickles/olives,lefse, turkey, dressing, scalloped corn, ham, cranberries mashed potatoes & gravy. Then comes the pumpkin pie and pecan pie. Whipped cream!
