[Wingo] It is not fact that abortion is wrong, only your opinion.

I would suggest using more caution when speaking is such absolutes. It tends to associate you with company you would probably not want to share.

[Virginian] I will try to elaborate in simpler terms.

Conservatives dont beleive in a womans right to choose because of ideollogy that each fetus has basic human rights. Child grows up gay/lesbian, and then instantaneously, these basic human rights that you enjoy (right to adopt, marry, health benefits etc.) suddenly become unobtainable.

You seem to belive this is not the case. I will offer another opportunity to disprove me. Although, by your previous statement, it sounds as if you are unable and would prefer to hide behind the veil of hypocrisy.

My statement still stands.

I think Virginian's comments are probably more applicable to mrthunder posts than mine.

I wish I was joking, and I am sure its not the most ignorant statement on the AL Tribune, I have read many of your posts (cheap shot, I apologize).

I would love to be proven wrong, so I will give you the opportunity to do so. If you can provide me evidence that Conservatives support and defend gay/lesbian rights as much as their own missionary position (symbolism and sarcasim there...a two-fer), I will retract my statement.

The abortion topic is a fine example which displays the hypocrisy of Conservatives. They will fight for the right of the fetus...unless that fetus is gay.

Isn't it entirely possible that since the Bush ticket has historically provided fodder to the fire, that this is why you see an increase in cartoons/articles/opinions attacking (this is a laughable concept) the "right".

People always slow down to see an accident. This administration has been one long 8 year accident, providing plenty of material for people to pay attention to.

If Obama is elected, I am quite certain there will be plenty of SNL skits, cartoons and opinions "attacking" the "left".

It is complete paranoia to think that the media is out to get the "right". If that were the case, I would love to see the business case that can validate eliminating possible subscribership/viewership by alienating half the populatiion as a good idea.

[Kona] "you can say all you want about your belief in your candidate but when you want to tear someone else down or degrade them or their beliefs, you then lose my confidence in anything else you are saying."

I have read your responses to many threads on this site. Based on your above statement, how can you expect others to find confidence or respect your opinion? I would suggest taking a more neutral perspective in your posts if you want serious consideration to be given.

If this is a forum for unsubstantiated rants, than I would suggest proceeding with caution.

Liberal Media...Conservative Media...blah blah blah. When Clinton was in office and the Lewinski scandel was at the forefront, it was the Conservative right-winged media attacking him. Now that Palin is being questioned (however valid or not), it is the Liberal media attacking her.

Research your topics of interest from numerous media sources and draw your own conclusions. Quit eating the spoonfeed information and think for yourself.

Virginian...what trifid is referring to "b. hussein obama" By deliberately emphasising his middle name, you are trying to draw associations between his namesake/heritage and the fear of muslims that comments like your propogate.

Barb...are you implying that someone that does not believe in your God or isn't a member of the NRA, is not considered a "real" American?
