Speaking of wealth distribution, I think it is time to STOP the wealth distribution FROM the middle class into the pockets of the top 5%. I don't think any of us asked 80% increases in our health care premiums, or 20% decreases in our home values, or 6.2% unemployment in Minnesota, or $700 billion of our tax paying dollars going to Iraq, or another $700 billion dollars of our tax paying dollars going to Wall Street. This ridiculous concept that the Democrats are for redistributing the wealth to the poor is a political strawman to distract everyone from the fact that the Republicans have been redistributing money from OUR pockets into the pockets of their rich Oil company, defense contractors, and wall street buddies for decades.

CBS has an article out tonight showing that the lawsuit potentially involving Norm Coleman and Norm's wife was re-submitted to the Harris County court in Texas yesterday. In a nutshell Paul McKim is the former CEO of an oil-services company in Houston Texas and is accusing Norm Coleman's pal, Iranian born Nasser Kazeminy that he forced McKim to funnel cash to Laurie Coleman, Norm's wife through this oil-services company. Of course if this is true this is illegal and could Norm Coleman into the same hot water that got Senator Ted Stevens indicted.

New Corruption allegations could lead to an indictment of Norm Coleman.

Nasser Kazeminy is the Iranian born businessman that has been been flying Republican Norm Coleman around on his jet and apparently buying Norm expensive suits. So the question no one has asked is why Norm is palling around with someone from Iran, which we still have on the axis of evil.

Yesterday we find out the Edina businessman Nasser Kazeminy has been accused of secretly funneling $75,000 through a Houston-based oil-rig servicing company, Deep Marine Technologies, to Laurie Coleman, Norm Coleman's wife.

The DFL issued a statement tonight, saying, "The allegations of criminal behavior are serious and deeply troubling... Senator Coleman has a duty to explain why those allegations aren't true."

If these new accusations are true Norm Coleman could be the next indicted U.S. Senator. Looks like Senator Ted Stevens may be getting a cellmate.

Can someone please explain to me what exactly Norm Coleman has done for Minnesotans? Besides fishing trips to Alaska with now convicted felon Ted Stevens.

Norm recently said, "We have real problems out there, real challenges. In the end it's about who can work out there and who can solve it."

So just what exactly has Norm done for Minnesota as a Senator?? I have asked this question repeatedly and so far I haven't gotten one clear answer.

I don't think any of us asked for 80% increases in our health care premiums, or 20% decreases in our home values, or 6.2% unemployment in Minnesota, shipping 100's of thousands of jobs overseas, or $700 billion of our tax paying dollars going to Iraq, or another $700 billion dollars of our tax paying dollars going to Wall Street.

No I am certainly not going to reward Norm Coleman for this horrendous performance. Al has some good ideas for changing the course of this country and getting Minnesota back on track to bringing more jobs to our state and stopping the redistribution of wealth FROM the middle class into the pockets of the top 5%.

You are voting against your economic interests if you vote Republican this year. Plain and simple!

We have gotten decades of "trickle down economics" and it has been a complete failure of an economic policy. No sorry a collosal economic failure. Should we really reward this performance by voting in the same people that got us into this mess?

Remember Bush's tax cuts and economic stimulus rebate that he gave all of us? Remember his rationale for giving money back to us that the government could not afford? He said it would stimulate the economy and create jobs. Guess what the economy is in the crapper and 800,000 thousand jobs have been LOST just this year. The most in decades. Minnesota's unemployement is now 6.2% which is HIGHER than the national average.

This is what is called voting against your economic interests.

* The Nasdaq is 65% lower now than its peak under Clinton 8 years ago.
* The Dow has lost 27% of its value in the past month thanks to Bush.
* You pay triple now for a gallon of gas thanks to Bush.
* You health care premiums have increased 80% thanks to Bush.
* You home is quickly on its way to be devalued thanks to Bush.
* And now food prices across the board are accelerating upwards.
* The middle class worker has seen their annual wages decrease by $2000.00 over the past 8 years. Meanwhile the top 5% now owns more than 70% of all the wealth in this country.
* $700 billion of our money has gone to Iraq to pay for a war that was a mistake
* $700 billion of our money has gone to bailout Wall Street

Oh but thank goodness for that $300.00 rebate check. Yippee!!

On Obama’s taxes will hurt corporations

Al and Barack just want to right an 8 year long wrong and start growing this country from the middle up and stop the destructive and failed economic policies of “trickle-down”. Al and Barack know that small business is the economic engine here in Minnesota and this is why they will stop the shipping of Minnesota jobs overseas and will provide TAX CUTS for the middle class and small business owners (95% of all Minnesotans and Americans).
