I love how in the interview with Ted Bledsoe of A Perfect Cause he mentioned the prosecutor is not taking these charges very seriously. "Even when we look at the prosecutor statements it dosn't sound like they really think it's a big deal" EXACTLY! I am glad he said that since that is the way the majority of us feel.
For those who missed the report this morning here is the story and from there you can watch it.

"Much of this has been distorted by the news media" No this has been brought to the light by the news media how serious this really is!

Nelson suck it up and retire! You dont deserve a raise. If this was your loved one you wouldn't find this so minor! Fifth Degree is not appropriate for this... Pre-meditated assult is not fifth degree.

Hey Crzy_mama... There ARE a few streets in town with NO grass area between the street and sidewalk. THAT is what this guy was talking about.
Cleaning it off right after the city pushes that heavy packed crap on your sidewalk is no fun. And trying to do it after they go by everytime is very difficult. So worring about some idiot falling on the sidewalk looking for a lawsuit compared to breaking our backs shoveling every few hours (sometimes) is the subject in question.

AMEN! I totally agree the sign was not bad. It was how the possible Illegals took the message. If you are truly offended about it find an illegal and help them become a citizen. Then we wouldn't have the problem.
I have nothing against immigration, that is what our country was based upon. It is the ones who think they can come in illegally and suck our system dry.
Get a Visa do the right thing start the process. Like all of our ancesters had to do.

I just do not understand how someone is offended by illegal immigrantion talk. They are here ILLEGALLY. Weather they are from Europe, Mexico, Africa... whichever. If one wants to move here and become a citizen... go through the process like everyone else! They DO hurt our economy.
I personnally agree with the sign. Was it appropriate for a parade? That I am not to sure of. BUT it is what it is.. THE TRUTH. Get over it.

As for the lady hurt.. I am so sorry those sorry excuse for kids threw the rock. I too hope they own up for their mistake and face the consequences.
