The potential punishment(s) don't seem to fit the crimes. Doesn't abuse of a dependent adult also constitute a federal crime? These actions are beyond cruel; where is the justice in this country? The suffering withstood by these defenseless elders and their families so far outweighs the potential punishment for the perpetrators...where is the justice?
