I have to say that I read all of these comments quite often and really don't side either way with them, but this time is different. How dare you "republicans" say anything about what Obama is doing. You "republicans" had 8 years to fix the situation and apparently you didn't, oh but now you have all the answers. No wonder we are an economy falling apart when you can't get the simple man to back up his words with action. If you know so much why didn't you run for President. Or are you one of the people who make an astronomical amount of money and now your Mad that you will actually have to pay taxes with that money? Either way I don't care. At least he is putting the money back into the USA instead of lying to us, to fix something from his fathers past. I don't care how much it cost fix it, if it is broke and we need it, then it should be fixed. If he is so wrong "wise one" tell us all what we should be doing to fix it???? I dare ya.

Oh no, when one of these guys hit your daughter, they collect on your insurance, (you know, the ins I make my teenagers pay for with their money) lie to you about having insurance. Then when your 17 year old daughter tries to collect on their ins. they don't have any, so then you call the city and police, after you do their jobs, (finding out the hispanic non english speaking person has provided false ins.) Then your 17 yr old has to buy a new car with money she hasn't earned yet. Then you have to wait 10 mths to see it go to court because they need a translator and the City Attorney that was handling it now is a judge. Then when you call to check on the process of the whole thing you are put on hold and no body knows whats going on. Ins. $100/ month, speach classes free, new car $3000.00, the experience PRICELESS!!!

WOW!!! Sounds like you have some racial anger issues to deal with. I am so glad that the votes are not based on such uninformed information. We live in a free country. Our fore fathers fought for these rights that we all share. I am not a religious person, but I have a very strong set of morals in which my family and children live by. I have taught my children that it is ok to have strong beliefs, but never to judge someone else because their beliefs may be different in ways in which some of us may not understand. I don't believe in abortion for myself, but who am I to tell someone else they can't make their own choices based on my belief for myself. You say things about Muslums in general, well that is the same as saying we should have a white president because of Timothy McVea (Oklahoma City) or did you forget that terristic act played out by an American White Man. Wow, don't try to force your beliefs down my throat, if just shows me how ignorant you really are.

For your info one of them was not drinking at all and tested negative for the substance and had no knowledge of what was in the container they had in their bag. The others (2) people had the substance on their person and were consuming. There were (3) involved not (2).

All I can say is, WOW, how did this happen? Nevermind whether these girls have grandparents, my question is what is going on in the home that they feel it's funny to abuse people. Doesn't matter the age. Do your parents care where you are, what you are doing, have they paddled your butt to remind you that you have to respect people no matter what you may think of them. If one of my children did this, they know that the court would have no punishment greater then the punishment they would receive from me. But then again I am a good parent and I have taught my children respect and they know better. I don't believe that these girls have ever suffered punishment for actions, otherwise they would have known better. It starts at home. And yes punish them as adults, that way it stays on their adult crime record. Shame on you girls and the ones who didn't report, you might as well have been standing right there with them, because, by you not reporting, you allowed it to continue. I think we need to go back to the good old days when kids were ACTUALLY held responsible for breaking the rules or the laws, instead of slapping their fingers and then telling them how loved they are. And yes I know who a couple of these girls are, my daughters told me right after it happened, because it was all over the high school, and their parents don't pay attention, shame on you too!!!

I guess I don't care who is on the list or what the rest of everybody thinks of illegal immigration or any of that. What I see is a bunch of disrespectful teenagers, not respecting themselves, their teachers, their peers, or their schools. You are in school to learn!!!! End of Story, not to text message, not to show you are the best dresser, or the best sports person or the best at anything. You are there to learn. I think these PARENTS, TEACHERS, ADMINISTRATERS, and anybody else reading this would take into consideration what you are raising. What you see with your own eyes is what you get. End of story!!!! As long as you Believe that material matters and popularity matters your kids will not succeed. I know this from pure experience and believe it or not it doesn't matter in the end. All that matters is that, you are a product of your parents, if they give you everything you want you will expect it, if they make you work your tale off for those things you will earn it. That is the difference between a winner and a loser. And if the parents are not taking the time to teach their children then the only one losing are the children. You can spend all of the money in the world at the time but the only thing that will teach them is their parents. By the way ALHS good job this year getting rid of the BS in the class room with the cell phones and IPODS. Bout time.
