another government run group. The way it sounds unless the goverment has written this is isn't good enough to put out. If they hadn't wanted to use it why did it take over 5 years to decide to get rid of it. I have been wondering about a lot of things FEMA has done over the last few years. I know they do help at a lot of places so I am not running them down, just wondering.

You write about the kind of people most of us are. No putting on airs and thinking we are better than others. You are a person that would be a great friend to have. Let people know small towns put out the friendliest and most thoughtful people and we are not hicks as a lot of city folks think.

Congratulations. Go for it and I hope you get the team you really want to play with. Good Luck

Do you honestly think the city would do something like this? They could use the money they spend on doing the mowing to buy the other plants and things. I don't think anyone is smart enough to follow this suggestion. Our lake is a joy and would be nice to see it with no algea in the summer. This might take a few years but it would be worth it.

maybe if the city officials would soon realize that Albert Lea is a city of a lot of retired people that don't have the money to fix sidewalks and streets right now when everything is in such a termoil. what we really need is officials that realize money doesn't just come to everyone. I agree with the lights on E Main. They are one of the biggest waste of money that our city has done in years and they certainly haven't brought any more business to town. Wake up city officials and at this time don't spend more than you have.

what Glenville did was a good thing and if it helps one person it was worth doing. The schools try to do something that may be helpful and keep things in perspective for the kids and what happens? one fool decides to run it downs and spends a lot of time doing it. we all want the kids safe anytime not just prom night and if should help in any little way be glad.

after 3 different incidents of this kind wise up and don't let anyone that asks into your house. not everyone is honest and theft may not be the only thing that could happen.

I hope this is one of the stores that stays open. We need new and different business uptown. This is a great business for a younger couple to start since they do have more input into what kids and young adults like. Good luck

truthbetold I certainly agree with you. I don't think artists will bring much income and I can't see people coming to Albert Lea just to view the art work. Time to get on to something that will really help the town instead of all these fantasy things that are trying to be done and not working out.

when they put in the sidewalks on north Bridge Ave from Richway and north the people on the East side of the street plus the people on the West side had to all pay. How would you like to pay for a sidewalk on the other side of a street so busy you can't even get across to it. Then spend the years watching how few people use this sidewalk . It was so the students could walk to the college ahd high school but how many students walk to school anymore?
