You are the reason that people scratch there heads in amazement when looking over comments. I believe in free speech, but it is people like you that ruin it for most. I met Roy when I first moved to Albert Lea as we share some of the same interests like hockey and living on the Iron Range and I have not met too many people that are as genuine and nice as Roy.
Now you may have an axe to grind and it sounds like you do, but do it face to face with Roy and I will bet that you come away a better person for it.
600 wins in any league, in any era, in any sport takes dedication, time, and a great spirit of teaching. Do not put a damper on an accomplishment that Roy and everyone that was coached by Roy worked hard for.
Shame on you.

Please use caution when talking about things that you do not know anything about.
I mean Pearl Harbor day-really! I do not think that ABC,who chooses this day said hey-lets put this show on this day to be mean to southern Minnesota just for kicks.
It picked this day because Extreme Home Makeover airs on Sundays. Sunday just happened to fall on December 7, 2008 this year and they chose it as part of the regular airing dates of its show.
While using this forum please count to ten prior to writing and hitting send on your computer.
This forum is a good tool, but needs to be used with caution-a lot like a car.
If you are bitter about the show or just are a bitter person, please wait 24 hours prior to posting because the 10 seconds will not be enough time for your heart to heal and make you rethink what you are about to send.

Congratulations on this great honor.
I grew up playing fast pitch softball in Michigan and it is sad to see how much it has pretty much been eliminated as a sport in todays society.
This article made me remember the great players from my youth and from your era that were unbelieveably talented athletes.
The pitching that was showcased in the midwest and northern Minnesota and Michigan along with Wisconsin was top notch.
