Thank you for putting the feelings I have towards Mr. Erdman into words. I feel he's brought his calm collective ways with him to this position. I see how attentive he is to solving the problems and not catering to anyone's particular (push their ideas only) personalities. I have seen how he is constantly attacked with gossip and print. When I read the bad comments that are posted, (by the same people) I feel that they are the consistent complainers I chose not to associate with. They are quick to judge, one-sided and rude. My hope is people realize that Mr. Erdman is working for them, as a whole and not just the individuals that bark for attention.

I think this is just plain whining, as they apparently need someone else to blame. Mr. Erdman has my respect and gratitude for stepping into a position that you guys had already badmouthed. Unless you decide to step up to the line and work towards results, kindly shut-up.

For all that want to assume or argue. The man was walking home from the grocery store. The man decided to cross. Why he crossed, how he crossed and what happened next is between him and God. The point of crossing was where the helicopter was in the picture and the closes open area to land. So thank God they were close to load him. Remember we all are accountable for our actions. His are on display and so are ours.

I would believe our comments about this case have already told the Attorney's of the 2 alleged adult suspects that they would find Freeborn county residents hostile and not able to obtain a clear and impatial veiw to be selected for jury duty. We have given them the reason to ask for a change of Venue.

Looks like money at work here. The article says that they were children when they did this. I still think Nelson should give up the juveniles also as he states that he knows both sides of the familys involved. Who's to say the victims will not get equal representation. Children tend to get plea bargined out. Who will be impartial as a jury for this? Looks like a venue will be changed.

Maybe, the writer of the article (or newspaper) should be blamed for their interpretation of the facts. Maybe we should demand they tell us white, black, brown, yellow, green every time they write an article before the gender. That way nobody feels left out. Let's unify the writing technique so nobody feels picked on.

In the MDH report it informs us that Video (on the cna's phones) was taken of one resident. Is not that evidence? and that they freely shared pictures. What makes us believe they have'nt posted them or spread them around.
Would we not be looking at a Federal law being broken? My hope is that the Family members of the victims take action to bring the Nursing home and or the cna's to court. From the MDH report already two of the victims have passed and who's defending their rights?

Thank you for posting the websites. I have taken the time to educate my opinion on this subject. I applaud you for working on a subject that people react with hate and stupidity towards. I intend to keep myself informed.

Well that's not what I have read when Mr Murtaugh was interviewed about the subject. I believe the quote had said “he’s talked with former elected city officials and city staff, who agree that the preagenda meeting has become a source of controversy.” “I’m actually proposing to eliminate it,” Murtaugh said. “I would take away the restrictions that have been put on the public forum. I haven’t quite determined whether that’s going to take the agreement of the council or if as the presiding officer it’s something I can do.” Of course that’s what it’s all about for Mr. Murtaugh, the power to do what he wants.
