I took a good look at the rides the last 2 years and they were missing bolts! Would you have felt comfortable putting a child on the rides with missing bolts? I wasn't so I tossed my granddaughter's tickets and let her play games. The carnival backed out so it was either inflatables or nothing. Real dependable carnival group, aren't they? I think Family Fun Shows should be contacted. They're the ones that do Festag.

I heard the carnival that was suppose to be there backed out. I suppose that is why there are going to be inflatables and games. Not a bad thing considering the condition of the carival rides the past couple of years.

there use to be a Jellystone in Shakopee behind the Budget Mart Motel and Perkins in Shakopee. My father managed it for a season.

Personally, I feel much safer on the road with a seatbelt. I wore a seatbelt before it was the law and every one in my car wore one. I would not start the car until everyone was buckled in and I still won't. I guess I would rather be safe....

I always liked Tim. He was always smiling when I saw him. I'm sure he will be looking down with a huge smile on his face when Heather gets married later this summer...My thoughts and prayers are with you.

mama03 has a child with health issues and must be concious of his surrounding and threats of illness. Exposing this child to potential disease from mosquitoes is not the best idea. She grew up outdoors as did her siblings and her parents and grandparents, etc. None of them had health issues that could be affected by bug bites. For her children, it's a whole differeent story....
