I'm a business owner and no I have nothing to do with McDonalds. I have NEVER let a good employee go. If people are let go they are not showing value to the employer. As the owner that is his/her right, period. Owners don't let good employees go for no reason. Those who say they do are usually the lazy employees (or the ones that steal) trying to save face. Again, good employees make me money... I tend to keep those employees!

On Do you think the Minnesota Vikings will make it to the Super Bowl?

"it does not matter who the coach is"...your kidding right? If you live in Minnesota you should realize coaching does matter. We have arguably the worst owners in Pro Baseball and yet we win year after year. On the other hand we have a great ownership group in Pro Football and say what you want buy Chili is a HUGE underachiever. If it wasn't for Favre and Peterson he'd be golfing. I'm not saying the ownership group is a good one, I have no idea to be honest but a good coach can overcome a lot of the issues.

I second the agreement with savypro. I'd like to beat those clowns senseless as well, BUT one of the things that makes our country great is the right to speak your mind. You may be a nut job, but you still have the right. Heck, you've got Olbermann on the air every night and nobody throws tomatoes at that clown....maybe they should.

This is for all the lefties. I know, everybody else is wrong and you're right.

From the FAR LEFT Huffington Post

"Fox News has pulled off another dominant quarter, claiming the top 10 cable news programs in 3Q 2009 and growing against 3Q 2008, while CNN and MSNBC lost substantial portions of their election-boom audience.

Fox News averaged 2.25 million total viewers in prime time for the third quarter, up 2% over the previous year. That's more than CNN (946,000, down 30%) and MSNBC (788,000, down 10%) combined.

"The O'Reilly Factor" led all cable news programs with an average of 3.295 million total viewers for the quarter, up 12% over the previous year. "Hannity" (2.603 million, up 9%), "Glenn Beck" (2.403 million, up 89%), "On the Record with Greta van Susteren" (2.150 million, up 16%), and "Special Report with Bret Baier" (1.997 million, up 20%) rounded out the top five.

Meanwhile, flagship programs at MSNBC and CNN did not sustain their growth from 3Q 2008: At MSNBC, "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" averaged 1.087 million total viewers, down 12% from the previous year and "The Rachel Maddow Show" averaged 996,000 total viewers (Maddow began the program in September 2008, so a comparison for the quarter would be inaccurate; compared to September 2008, though, Maddow's September 2009 total viewer average is down 40%). At CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360" averaged 1.005 million viewers, down 17% from the previous year and "Lou Dobbs" averaged 658,000 total viewers, down 24%. Larry King and Campbell Brown were both down just slightly in total viewers."

People are finally seeing that "saying it" isn't as important as "doing it".

OldTrojan...what is it about Newt that you don't like? I know you liberals don't like this but please be specific and give us some facts. Any time I hear someone that is "all republicans are bad" or "all dems are good" I take it with a grain of salt. You are the exact reason we have the issues in Washington D.C. we have today. You're an all or nothing guy that couldn't possibly swallow the reality that there are bums on both sides of the aisle. Don't forget Teddy, Barney Frank, Slick Willy, and a host of others. Don't worry OT, I know the Republicans have a whole stable of their own issues. The difference, I realize that the only "all" you can say is "almost ALL of our polititions are crooks" Now...take off the rose colored glasses, you'll like the view MUCH better from the middle.

This is the same movie I've seen over and over again. They get huge, start getting a bunch of attention and then fire the guy that got them there (Jim) because they believe it's the club and not the employees who bring the success. He leaves and within two years the club is closed. Oh...you can be rest assured they'll have 92 excuses why "even with Jim we would have failed". Those are called CYA excuses. "Deny deny deny...and they'll never catch on."
