Albert Lea Police Officer Rodney Davis, center, radios ahead as the train nears a crossing. Patrol cars were ready at each crossing to stop any cars that crossed the train’s path unsafely. Tom Wolff, left, served as engineer and Ron Gardner was conductor for the Operation Lifesaver drill Thursday morning. See related story below.
