After falling in the opening round of the Southland Rebel Classic, the Glenville-Emmons boys’ basketball team was in need of a lift.

Andrew Greibrok provided it.

Greibrok poured in a career-high 30 points, hitting six three-pointers, as the Wolverines defeated Grand Meadow in the consolation semifinals at Adams Friday night.

In addition to his points, Greibrok grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Wolverines on the boards.

&uot;It was a big game for Andrew,&uot; said Glenville-Emmons coach Jeff Rayman. &uot;He gave us a big boost. I can’t say enough about his play.&uot;

The Wolverines played from behind most of the first half, trailing 10-7 after one quarter and 27-25 at the intermission. They pulled away in the third, outscoring the SuperLarks 24-10 to take a 49-37 lead into the fourth.

Seth Stadheim and Nick Walk played an excellent overall floor game for the Wolverines, according to Rayman. Stadheim finished with five points, seven assists, three steals and two blocked shots while Walk had seven rebounds.

Ben Erickson had 11 points and seven rebounds, Aaron Perleberg seven rebounds. Josh Delger, playing in foul trouble most of the night, had 10 points.

&uot;The kids played a very tough, good game,&uot; said Rayman. &uot;I’m real proud of our comeback after Thursday night.&uot;

On Thursday, the Wolverines lost 49-37 to Southland in the opening round. They trailed 10-5, 22-11 and 41-29 at the breaks. Erickson and Delger led the scoring.

&uot;We played real flat,&uot; said Rayman. &uot;Our intensity level was much higher (Friday).&uot;
