The Albert Lea High School Drama and Music Department will present &uot;Kiss Me Kate&uot; at 7:30 p.m. tonight through Saturday at the Albert Lea High School Auditorium.
The musical includes such Cole Porter tunes as &uot;Brush Up Your Shakespeare,&uot; &uot;So in Love,&uot; &uot;Too Darn Hot&uot; and &uot;Wunderbar.&uot;
Tickets are available in advance at Andersen Hallmark stores and at the door on the evening of each performance. Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $4 to students and seniors.
Following is a listing of other area events happening this weekend.
&t;B> Friday, Nov. 16<B>
*&160;St. Theodore Catholic Church will hold a fish fry from 5-6:30 p.m. in Marian Hall. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Children under 3 eat free. The menu includes fish, baked or mashed potatoes, cole slaw, rolls and ice cream with toppings.

&t;B> Saturday, Nov. 17<B>
*&160;First Lutheran Church will hold its annual Holidays Ahead Bazaar from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in Bethany Hall. Featured will be crafts, lefse, candy, cookies and basket items. The coffee hour, with Scandinavian baked goods, is from 8-10:30 a.m., and noon lunch is from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
*&160;The 14th annual craft and collectible sale will be held at the Fleetguard Family Center in Lake Mills, Iowa. There will be over 64 booths, door prizes, raffles and a silent auction. Rolls and coffee and lunch will be served.
*&160;The Humane Society of Freeborn County will host Santa Paws from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Gayle’s Grooming & Pet Supplies, 917 S. Broadway Ave., Albert Lea. Pets will be photographed with Santa, and a variety of picture choices will be available. Refreshments will be served. All proceeds will go to the Humane Society of Freeborn County.

&t;B> Sunday, Nov. 18<B>
*&160;The Glenville-Emmons School and Community Foundation, along with Dollars for Scholars, will serve an omelet breakfast at the Emmons School from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. On the menu will be a cooked-to-order omelet with choice of ingredients, hash browned potatoes, homemade muffins, juice, milk and coffee. The cost is $5, with children under age 5 eating for free. Tickets are be available at the door.
*&160;Tryouts for the Eagles Cancer Telethon will be conducted from 2:30-4 p.m. at the Albert Lea Eagles Club. People should bring their own tape and/or record players. For more information, call 373-1162. The telethon will be held Jan. 19 and 20.
