Registering 10 assists in a game is considered outstanding. Getting 20 is almost unheard of. But that’s what Seth Stadheim did.

The Glenville-Emmons senior totaled 20 assists as the Wolverines won 55-47 in a Southeast Conference game at Houston.

It was a game the Wolverines figured to win easily but Houston managed to keep it close, which kept Stadheim and the rest of the starters on the floor.

The Wolverines led 17-8, 33-20 and 40-34 at the quarter breaks.

&uot;We played a good first half,&uot; said coach Jeff Rayman. &uot;We were a little out of rhythm, though, with two players injured.&uot;

The Wolverines were without Chase Rayman, who remained sidelined with a sprained ankle, and Paul Kleven, who left in the first quarter with an ankle sprain.

Stadheim finished with a double-double, adding 11 points to his 20 assists. Andrew Greibrok had 13 points, five rebounds and three assists, Nick Flatness seven points and eight rebounds, Adam Bremer six points and eight rebounds. Richie Mathis added six points.

The Wolverines are home tonight against Grand Meadow.
