Damian Montes, left, and Cody Kiewiet, both 9, take some time during their snow day Monday to shovel away the snow at the end of Montes’ driveway in Albert Lea. They said they spent much of their day &uot;hanging out&uot; and about a half-hour battling the pile of snow at the end of the driveway. Several schools throughout southern Minnesota canceled classes due to the snowfall.
